What we plan to do
Our aim is conduct behaviour change experiments to identify what works to help promote these kinds of micro-interactions between residents and essential workers. We will use our expertise in anthropology, co-design and behavioural science to understand current context, devise interventions and robustly test their effectiveness, in our 3 phase methodology:

Ethnography
-
Observe and study the social connections between workers and residents.
-
Understand the current context - where these behaviours are already happening and where barriers to engagement exist.
Co-design
-
Use principles and models from behavioural science and wider literature to develop early intervention ideas
-
Iterate and co-design ideas with essential workers to identify the most impactful
Testing
-
Conduct experimental trials
-
Provide robust evidence of which drive better social interaction
